About the event

Why is having strong chi important?


Chi (Ki or Hara) is vital, life-force energy. When we live sedentary lives, our life-force wanes and we put ourselves at risk for health-related issues. When we engage in activities that help us build and cultivate this life-force we are healthier in body, mind and spirit.


The mystery school system of ChiDo is a simple and extremely effective chi-building exercise.


Mind-Body Harmony: ChiDo combines slow movements, breath control, and meditative brain-wave states to promote the flow of ki, calming the mind and helping shift from stress (fight-or-flight) to relaxation (rest-and-digest).


Improved Circulation & Balance: Enhancing blood flow to muscles and organs by clearing “traffic jams” along energy pathways (meridians), supporting strength, flexibility, and energy movement.
