About the event
Do your hands often hurt after trying to give someone a massage? Look no further, this is your opportunity to gain some great massage skills that won't only feel good to who ever is receiving, but wont physically tax your hands either! This class is designed for the average person who is interested in massage therapy, but isn’t a massage therapist. This is a small introductory class that will quickly in under two hours go over basic techniques and areas of the body to apply them to in order to give an amazing massage to anyone you know.
Disclaimer:
Please note that this is not a credited class, if you are a Licensed Massage Therapist, this class will not count towards your CEUs. This class is for anyone, and is purely for fun, to gain a new skill and not to be used professionally. Ideally to be used casually for your spouse, family and/ or friends.
What to bring:
Wear comfy, athletic clothing
Water bottle
Notebook/ note taking device
Please be aware that in order to take this class it will be a hands-on experience! Meaning, others in the class and myself to demonstrate techniques will be touching you and others. Touch will remain professional and only in designated areas of the body deemed appropriate for massage. If this makes you uncomfortable in anyway please consider that before taking this class. It will be a lot of fun, but if you are uncomfortable with touch from a stranger, this class may not be right for you.
About the instructor:
Hi, my name is Connor James Igielski, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and have been for about 5 years now. Along with Massage Therapy, I am also certified as a Ensofic Reiki Practitioner, Life Activation Practitioner and Healer in the Modern Mystery School. I grew up having a Father who is a successful Chiropractor allowing me to gain experience in my field by working with him, along with many other Doctors, Physical Therapists and other LMT’s in my practice. As a Massage Therapist, it has been my job to facilitate healing, and help others progress and stabilize in their healing journey.
